Help & getting started

1. Your Instagram account must be a Professional account (Business or Creator). You can switch inside the Instagram app under Settings → Account type and tools.
2. For brand accounts, link your Instagram to a Facebook Page you manage.
3. On your KollabKey dashboard, click Connect Instagram and finish the Meta login.
4. Click Sync now. Your last ~25 posts / reels and today’s stories will import, and metrics (views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves) will attach to each one.

Open the post on Instagram, copy the URL, and paste it into the Add content by link box on your library or the campaign page.

• Instagram: the posting account must be connected to KollabKey (yours as a creator, or the brand account for brand content).
• TikTok / YouTube: the link and thumbnail are saved; enter metrics with the Log metrics button.
• Pasting the same link twice is safe — it re-attaches to the campaign you pick without creating duplicates.

Every sync grabs a new metric snapshot. To refresh a single post between syncs, click Refresh metrics on any Instagram-sourced row in the library. Historical snapshots are kept so you can see how a post grew over time.

Brands can invite creators by email from a campaign page — they receive a secure link that walks them through joining. Remove a creator from a campaign with the Remove button on the creator row; their previously-linked content stays in your library but is unassigned from that campaign.

Use the Remove button on any content row to detach it from that campaign. The canonical post is preserved for other campaigns and analytics. To re-link, paste the same URL again and choose the campaign.

Meta only returns your recent media through the Graph API. If you need an older post included in a campaign, paste its URL directly with the Add content by link box — that works for any post from a connected account.
